We just had such a fun few days on "Stay-cation" over at my parent's house while they're out of the country for a couple weeks. Yes, they knew we would be over! :)
Jeremy had hernia surgery a week ago, and was in between projects with work so had scheduled some "down time" last week.
We had quiet mornings in the Word, spent lazy days by the pool, and had yummy BBQ dinners in the evenings. It was perfect, and virtually free. Thanks mom & dad!
Now we're back to reality... Jeremy's at work, there are piles of laundry and cleaning to do, and it is H-O-T here today. Time to crank on that window AC unit!
And yes, I also am aware that I haven't updated this blog in a CRAZY long time, BUT rather than overwhelm myself with trying to catch up, I thought I'd jump right back in and post when I can.

Oh Jenny, thank you so much for your sweet, sweet comment on our blog --- my goodness, your kids are ADORABLE! And both getting so big! I hear ya, these past two years really have flown by!!! Yikes on that snake - how'd ya get rid of it? Were you nervous with the kids nearby at all? (looks like it was right there by the pool??) I am always so encouraged by your heart-felt words & encouragement, and forever inspired to press into Him more when I am in contact with you - even via blogging. ;) God IS so faithful & while I often feel far from obedient, I am constantly amazed by His goodness and grace that is showered on us. Glad you guys had a great stay-cay last week. :) Fun times! Lots of love to you all... would absolutely LOVE to have you visit if you ever wanted to head up to the Inland PacNW! :) :)
